In the city of Zurich, office space available within three months increased to 249,000 sq m or 3.7% in Q1 2024. The most recent increase in supply has mainly been driven by the CBD, where some excess space has been freed up by the financial sector. Here, supply currently stands at 73,000 sq m or 3.8%, which is an increase of 160 bps since the end of 2022. Nevertheless, the market remains tight with a general lack of modern and efficient office space in prime locations.
